MONEY AND YOUR RELATIONSHIP

At what point in ones relationship should money be discussed.

1. When you decide to live together.
2. Whenyou become engaged
3. After you ar married

For me the ideal answer to this question would be never, but not everyone likes to bury there head in the sand like me. But seriously they say money is the route of all evil and they are right money should be discussed with your spouse the minute the relationship starts to get serious, and when you decide to move in together or even get married or god forbid get property together everyone needs to be on the same page money wise or it could spell "DISASTER".

Money wise certain things should be made clear.
1. Not because the husband makes more mone does not mean he should contribute more t the household expenses.
2. Each person should have a separate account from the other.
3. A jint accunt where they both contribute to each month "equally amounts" which is then used for every and all expenses.

If a couple is upfront with each other regarding there money situation when they get into a relationship, whether the husband has student loans or the wife is in credit card debt, then they should have no money difficulties when everything is out in the open and nobody is hiding from the other how much they actually make.
